Azad Band was established by Late Master Itwari Lal Azad as small band with five men in the year 1962. Soon, Master Itwari Lal Azad was in high demand to perform in marriage parties and other auspicious functions with his band party. When he performed with his band, people of Lucknow and other cities of Uttar Pradesh, M.P., Bihar and our neighboring country Nepal were mesmerized with his outstanding presentation.
Currently, Azad Band is being organized and supervised by Ram Kumar Azad, Shyam Kumar Azad and Vikas Kumar Azad. Himanshu Kant, Sudhanshu Kant and Dipanshu Kant are following the steps of their Grandfather Late Master Itwari Lal Azad. At present, Azad Band has a group of 150 artists. At last but not the least, Azad Band has reached the Pinnacle of success under able supervision & management of Ram Kumar, Shyam Kumar and Vikas Kuamr, the three sons of Master Itwari Lal and they continue to give their clients & customers best service by their diligent efforts.
